Upgrade to the FPS test rig offers more options for customers

Specially designed by FPS, the test rig gives comprehensive diagnostics of hydraulic equipment, as well as equipment testing after servicing, ensuring everything is functioning correctly before leaving the workshop. The recently upgraded test rig can now test most everyday hydraulic equipment as well as larger machinery like large hydraulic pumps, felling heads, etc as well as our own winch tester.

It’s also capable of pumping higher volumes of oil at higher pressure, thanks to its increased 120 horsepower.

Following the test rig upgrade, FPS’ testing capabilities now include:

• Increased diagnostic capability on large hydraulic equipment

• A winch on-site test rig which can test winches and static brakes to 30 tonnes

• Flow meters capable of measuring flow up to 800L a minute

• Pressure testing and electronic component testing.
